Head Region North Germany: Dr. Armin Müller
Dr. Armin Müller has been with UBS since 2010 and has a wealth of experience in wealth management. He has worked in several locations in Switzerland, for example as head of the offshore business with German wealthy clients (Desk Head Wealth Management Germany International) as well as head of the Kreuzlingen and St. Gallen offices.
At the beginning of 2020, Dr. Müller took over the management and responsibility for the Hamburg branch, thus returning to his roots as a native of the north. In his free time, he is a passionate jogger, runs around the Alster every day and enjoys taking trips to the coast with his family on free weekends.
UBS's Hamburg branch has its origins in 1997, when UBS acquired the private bank Schröder, Münchmeyer, Hengst & Co. (SMH), thus forming the basis for today's business. In 2014, the Bremen branch was integrated, and Hamburg was strengthened as the most important location in northern Germany.
In addition to its harbor, the Elbphilharmonie concert hall and its cosmopolitanism, Dr. Müller and his team offer first-class advice at the highest level, especially to wealthy clients. On average, the Hamburg team of advisors has been working for UBS locally for over 15 years – a constant that their clients greatly appreciate.
