UBS Kids Cup

Running, jumping, throwing – the largest youth sport project in Switzerland includes all natural forms of exercise and has more than 170,000 participants per year. Children and adolescents aged 7 to 15 years compete in the 60-meter sprint, long jump and ball throw at the UBS Kids Cup. During the local preliminaries and cantonal finals, the best performers qualify for the grand Finalissima at the legendary Letzigrund stadium where they can feel like great track and field stars for an entire day. We have been the name sponsor and supporter of this event since 2011.

Swiss Sport Aid Foundation

Not only do we support today’s elite but tomorrow’s performers as well. We promote sports in Switzerland by our partnership with the Swiss Sport Aid Foundation. As one of the most important Swiss sports institutions, the Swiss Sport Aid Foundation has been supporting more than 1,000 athletes every year since 1970 with sponsorships, grants and awards, and because of its engagement is the origin of countless Swiss medals and top performances at large international events.

Omega European Masters

The Omega European Masters is the only tournament of the PGA European Tour that takes place in Switzerland and is the oldest tournament on the continent. At this tournament, some of the best golf professionals worldwide compete against each other at the fantastically beautiful “Seve Ballestros” course at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club.

White Turf

International horse races normally take place on the first three weekends of February with the impressive Upper Engadin mountains in the background. The spectacular skikjoring races are a spectator magnet where daring riders on skis are pulled over the icy St. Moritz Lake by thoroughbred horses. The overall winner of the UBS skikjoring trophy is determined on the third and last Sunday that races are held, and the winner is given an award as the “Queen” or “King of the Engadins.”

This partnership is especially visible by UBS’s presence as the main sponsor of the art center’s main annual exhibit. UBS also exclusively supports the annual “open house.” The building extension by star architect David Chipperfield promoted the Kunsthaus Zürich to the largest art museum in Switzerland.

Kunstmuseum Basel

The Kunstmuseum Basel is one of the oldest and renowned fine art museums in Switzerland. The focus of the Kunstmuseum Basel is paintings and drawings by Upper Rhine artists from 1400 to 1600 and art from the 19th to 21st centuries.

The Aargauer Kunsthaus is one of the most profiled institutions in the Swiss museum landscape. With more than 19,000 works, the Aargauer Kunsthaus is home to one of the most comprehensive public collections of Swiss art originating from the 18th century right to the present day. Locarno Film Festival

As the main partner of the Locarno Film Festival, we have been sharing our passion for cinema every summer since 1981. High-quality movies are shown in the heart of the city, out in the open air and in front of a thousand black and yellow seats. On the last day of the festival, the Piazza Grande audience's favorite movie is awarded the Prix du Public UBS.

Zurich Film Festival

The ZFF is the second-largest film festival in German-speaking countries with around 130,000 festival-goers per year and thousands of movie and media creators from around the world. The ZFF presents the most anticipated movies of the year and interesting discoveries during the 11 days of the festival in the fall. As the main partner, UBS is currently supporting the “International Feature” competition, three Gala premiers and the “ZFF for children” section.

The Opernhaus Zürich (Zurich Opera House) has been enthusing audiences for more than 100 years and has international recognition as one of the most successful music theaters. Every year around 300 opera productions, ballet performances, concerts and recitals take place with high-profile casts. As a long-time partner, UBS exclusively supports Ballett Zürich as well as the annual opening celebration “open” and is also a sponsor of three opera premiers.

Lucerne Festival

Lucerne Festival is one of the leading international festivals in the area of classical music. The festival takes place in the summer from mid-August to mid-September and provides a wide variety of activities with around 100 concerts and accompanying events.
